Way back in 1862 Shiloh was the place which saw one of the bloodiest war to take place in the entire history of America. It was the costliest war up till that time. The number of soldiers in the Johnston battalion was 45000 and Grants army was less in number. Up till the afternoon the confederates were looking as a hot favorite to win the battle.
